About the Journal
The Journal of VLSI and Embedded System Design, ISSN 3139-1818 is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that focuses on advancing research in the areas of Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) design and embedded system hardware development. The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, academicians, industry experts, and postgraduate scholars to publish innovative research addressing the design, analysis, and implementation of integrated circuits and embedded hardware systems.
With the rapid growth of low-power electronics, application-specific integrated circuits, and intelligent embedded platforms, there is an increasing need for optimized VLSI architectures and efficient hardware–software co-design methodologies. JVESD emphasizes research that bridges circuit-level design and system-level integration, supporting the development of high-performance, energy-efficient, and scalable embedded systems.
The journal welcomes original research articles, review papers, and technical contributions covering digital, analog, and mixed-signal VLSI, ASIC and FPGA-based designs, System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures, embedded processors, and reconfigurable computing platforms. Submissions that highlight practical implementations, design optimization, and emerging hardware technologies are particularly encouraged.
Published by the Institute for Advanced ECE Research, the Journal of VLSI and Embedded System Design aims to promote high-quality research, foster collaboration between academia and industry, and contribute to the advancement of next-generation electronic and embedded system technologies.
